Family Fun at Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay

The weather was not in our favor during our first visit to Hotel Kimberly (HK) last August 2017. The rain was pouring heavily during our stay so we were not able to maximize the amenities but the warmth we felt from all the staff and beauty of the amenities left us wanting to return.

And so after a year and a half, we are back to celebrate hubby’s birthday. I booked a Superior room via deal grocer and just emailed HK’s reservation team of our preferred date. The reservation was hassle-free.

Check-in process was very straight forward. The receptionist ensured to brief me with the activities that can be done at the property. Guests also had the option to avail of their welcome drinks but we decided not to get since we were still full from our scrumptuous lunch. (This deserves another blogpost).

After checking in, we had our pictures taken at HK’s backdrop. Who can resist not to?? I am not sure how often they change these but I think these are their Easter-inspired ones.

Look what welcomed us in the room! They prepared this because I mentioned it was hubbys’s birthday in my reservation email. Hubby was happy about it and of course the little girl couldn’t be happier with the balloons.

Now the fun stuff!  Just look at the activities you can have here with your kids!

HK has 3 sets of pools: Adult pool, Kiddie pool and Play pool. On our first day, the adult pool was closed due to maintenance after the earthquake so Mark and Reese took a dip at the kiddie pool and playpool instead.

After freshening up after the swim, out next agenda was to explore the playground.

My adventurous 3 year old really enjoyed the playground. We went back again the following morning and look who were there — 2 horses. Ofcourse, we had to keep a safe distance to avoid being kicked but it was a good view as we don’t get to see this very often.

We have company

Hotel Kimberly boast a large outdoor space fit for playing or just hanging out. What I find unique is that they don’t only have obstacle courses but also outdoor gym equipment.

During the night, we together with the other families enjoyed the bonfire. Oh sugar rush!!

We couldn’t leave Hotel Kimberly without dropping by the Farm. Guests have the option to feed the farm animals like the bunnies and lambs, ride the horse (with a fee) and roam around the herb greenhouse.

My little girl is fond of animals so she really enjoyed seeing all the pet farm animals. Talk about interactive learning! We didn’t avail of the horseback ride but it something to look forward to on our next visit.

Hotel Kimberly remains to be one of the top family vacation places and I hope you visit this place so that you can experience a personalized service you just don’t see often.
