When In Lipa: Dine at Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano

Search for the top restaurants in Lipa Batangas, and Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano will appear on the list. Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano is the first Italian fine dining restaurant in Lipa. The owner’s family’s love for Italian cuisine inspired the restaurant’s birth.

Trivia: Casa Marikit and Hotel 1925 are both owned by TJ Fabie.

Dining Experience in Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano

Let me share with you our dining experience.

Reservations

I initially inquired by sending a message to their Facebook page. I sent our contact details and reservation request, but I was told to wait for confirmation from the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not contact us, so we didn’t get the reservation. Although I wish, they also texted to let us know we didn’t get it.

I tried to reserve again, but I sent the request via SMS this time. The reservation went seamless this time, and so we were able to get a table for lunch.

The Food at Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano

We stopped by the restaurant for lunch before returning home to Rizal. We were able to park in the parking area beside the restaurant easily. Note though that it shares the parking with the Japanese restaurant beside it. But don’t worry, there is a guard to assist the guests while parking.

Casa Marikit Entrance

Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano exudes an Italian rustic and industrial charm with its bricked wall, creeping plants, and black iron glass doors.

Even a sneak peek is enough to see its beauty.

When we entered the property, the restaurant came into full view.

Upon entering the arch-shaped door, the waiter greeted us from the foyer and showed us our table.

The restaurant was even more beautiful inside, with decors that complemented the brown hues of the bricks and wood.

I also love that our table was beside the arch glass door.

Lipa has a natural cool breeze, especially during the BER months. While the restaurant has indoor air conditioners, they don’t need to turn them on.

When we tried to open the Arch glass door by our table, we eventually had to close it because it was cool already.

The Food

The restaurant has an extensive menu of Italian food. As first-time diners at the restaurant, we appreciated the recommendations made by our waiter. We could tell the waiters were well-trained and well-educated about their food selections.

For appetizer, we had the Insalata de Rucola. It had the right mix of arugula greens and gorgonzola cheese. The crunchiness and sweetness of the pear and walnuts contrasted with the balsamic dressing.

We ordered two sets of pasta. Our daughter had their Spaghetti ala Bolognese while we had their Fettucini ala Carbonara. I think these are pasta staples; you should try this if you want classic Italian pasta dishes.

The highlight of our meal was the Filletto de Manzo, which is pan-grilled beef tenderloin with mixed vegetables. The meat was tender, moist, and flavorful.

That was quite a heavy meal! Then, we treated ourselves to a light Pannacotta dessert that melted in our mouths. They also offer a selection of tea and coffee. We ordered a cup to power us for the remainder of our trip home.

The Courtyard

After eating, we were able freely to walk around the property and take photos. Just behind the restaurant was a huge courtyard. I believe guests can have tables and chairs for bigger celebrations and events.

Here are some photos we took around the courtyard.

I can truly understand why Casa Marikit Ristorante Italiano is a top-rated restaurant in Lipa. The ambiance, interior, food, and service made the loyal customers come back and enticed new customers to feel eager to try.
